BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES OF THE ATTORNEYS

JEFFREY B. FISHER is the sole member of The Fisher Law Group, PLLC, located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland with high honor in 1971 and from the University of Maryland School of Law with honor in 1974. Mr. Fisher was admitted to the Bar of Maryland in 1974, and the Bar of the District of Columbia in 1975. In addition, he is licensed to practice before the federal District Courts for Maryland and the District of Columbia, the Fourth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Fisher is the foreclosure and bankruptcy attorney for several national and local mortgage loan servicers for their loan servicing portfolios in the District of Columbia and in Maryland. Mr. Fisher has extensive land title experience. He began abstracting titles in 1969, and has engaged in settlement practice since 1974. He has handled title insurance claim cases for over twenty years. He has presented seminars regarding foreclosure and bankruptcy practice to both mortgage loan servicing groups and to attorneys. He has recently served on a Task Force that re-wrote the District of Columbia foreclosure law.

MARTIN S. GOLDBERG graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985, and obtained his J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1988. Mr. Goldberg practices in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate and litigation, in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He joined the firm in 1997 after previously having been associated with two USFN firms.

IBIRONKE SOBANDE was born in Birmingham, United Kingdom. She received her L.L. B. from Ogun State University, Nigeria in 1990. She subsequently earned her L.L.M. degree at the University of London in 1998. Prior to her emigration to the United States, she was admitted to the bar in 1991 as a Barrister and Solicitor, Supreme Court of Nigeria. She is a member of the bars of New York and Maryland, and of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Her practice with the firm will concentrate on foreclosure and litigation.
