MISSION STATEMENT-FIRM HISTORY

The Fisher Law Group, PLLC is an “AV” rated law firm providing representation to servicers, banks, financial institutions and private investors in connection with the resolution of their delinquent secured commercial and residential real estate mortgage portfolios in Maryland and the District of Columbia. The firm handles foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, seller representation for REO outsales, and loss mitigation, as well as litigation. The Fisher Law Group is a member of the American Legal and Financial Network.

We at the Fisher Law Group understand the pressures and time constraints ours clients are under. Our lawyers and staff are here to provide superior and timely legal representation to our clients. Our clients need to know what is going on with their cases and we work hard to provide the communication they need. We are committed to use current technologies to further that effort. After seventeen years in law practice in a partnership, Jeffrey Fisher established his own law practice in 1991. He maintained a general legal practice with an emphasis on real estate litigation and he continued to provide servicer representation. In 1994, at a time when he had no associates, one secretary and a part-time paralegal, he was asked by a major servicer to be its exclusive attorney for Maryland and the District of Columbia. He undertook that challenge and prepared to grow not only to service that client, but enough to diversify the practice, and not to be too concentrated with the representation of one servicer. The firm now has three lawyers, twenty-five staff members and it represents a growing base of national and local lenders. In 1998, in honor of that growth and the dynamic attorneys and staff that made it possible, the firm organized as the Fisher Law Group, PLLC.
